RE: FENDER'S CEASE-AND-DECIST AGAINST PRS
You do not need to sell your Fender or cover the logos. This is not a brand whose owner tried to ruin democracy. For that matter, Fender is not even Fender anymore.
Or, an opinion no one asked for from your friend who has been on maybe too many sides of the music industry.

Since 2020, Fender has been majority owned by Servco Pacific and TPG, both private equity firms.
The reality of the music industry is from instruments to sales to recording to publishing to venues only about eight firms control the vast majority.
Your favorite DJ? Spinning tracks owned by Sony. Your Sales Rep? Controlled by private equity, located just down the street from the firm that owns your favorite synth brands.
You can do a few things. For one, appreciate the instruments you already have. Then buy from small builders. There are some outstanding guitar builders and garage-based instrument makers.
For publishing and labels, remember that record deal is just another name for bank loan.
Play your Fender. Buy local. Get weird gear from weird people. And you do not need another pedal to practice.
